| Description:
The Satrix MSCI Japan Feeder ETF is an index-tracking fund registered as a Collective Investment Scheme and listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) as an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). Its mandate is to track, as closely as possible, the performance of the MSCI Japan Net Total Return Index, measured in ZAR. The MSCI Japan Net Total Return Index represents the large-and mid-cap segments of the Japanese equity market. Around 190 constituents, it provides exposure to approximately 85% of the Japanese equity universe. To replicate the index’s performance, the ETF invests in the Amundi MSCI Japan UCITS ETF (the underlying fund). The underlying fund’s investment objective is to track the MSCI Japan Index and minimisetracking error relative to the Index’s performance. It aims to achieve this through direct replication, investing in securities that represent index constituents in proportions that closely match their weights in the Index. |
