| Description:
The mandate of the Satrix JSE Global Equity ETF is to track, as closely as possible, the value of the FTSE/JSE Global Investor Index (J501). It is comprised of local equities with a stronger global flavour. The index uses global free floats in the weighting of its constituents, thereby offering a rand hedge alternative to local equity indices with a higher proportion of earnings from offshore. The fund is an index tracking fund registered as a Collective Investment Scheme, and is also listed on the JSE as an Exchange Traded Fund. It provides investors with the price performance of FTSE/JSE Global Investor Index as well as pays out, on a quarterly basis, all dividends received from companies comprising the index, net of cost. |
