Last week was the sixth South African Listed Tracker Awards (SALTA) with Satrix winning nine on the twenty-six and six of the seven main categories.
Absa came in second with six awards but many of these ETFs are now owned by Satrix. 1nvest was third with four awards, Sygnia got three, CoreShares received two and Firstrand got one.
The main award is the People’s Choice Award in which investors are able to vote for their favourite ETF. Once again the Satrix40 won, as it has every year since the awards were introduced.
