The big question is what can you buy inside a TFSA? Below is the comprehensive list of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that you can buy within a TFSA. It excludes all other products, only focusing on ETFs and that’s how I am using my TFSA and how I suggest most people do so.

Excluded are all Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) and commodity ETFs.

• The list has been updated (3 June 2015) to include the newly issued CoreShare Top50 (CTOP50) and the four ABSA eRAFI funds that converted to S&P Givi (Global Intrinsic Value Index).
