Trading volatile markets with Petri Redelinghuys

Simon BrownPower Hour, Video Trading, Webinar and Video

Markets started the year with a sell-off in tech stocks, including local Naspers and Prosus. Since then the invasion of Ukraine markets has seen increased volatility across all sectors.

Trading during volatile markets can be rewarding but is generally tough and is the focus of this JSE Power Hour presented by Petri Redelinghuys of Herenya Capital Advisors.

Petri has a decade of experience as a trader and he covers issues such as preferred trading styles for volatility, managing risk, exits and stops. The key to trading is protecting capital and he also looks at knowing when to simply stand aside rather than risking capital.

Power Hour

JSE Power HourHow do you make sense of the financial markets? How do you interpret the latest financial news? Where do you learn how financial instruments work? How can you learn to invest?

The JSE Power Hour started in 2011 with top industry experts presenting to private investors on financial issues closest to their heart. Power Hours were live presentations in Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town and broadcast online. However, due to Covid-19 the Power Hours now take place virtually.
