The Worst JSE Listed ETFs for 2024

Simon BrownETF Blog, Latest

Last week we looked at the best locally listed ETFs for the year, and now we have the list of the worst.

The good news, it’s a small list of only ten ETFs. Below is the entire red list year-to-date including dividends to the close on 9 December 2024.

It’s all about PGMs and some offshore bond ETFs.

Two local equity ETFs make the list, the momentum and GIVI ETFs from Satrix but overall 2024 has been a great year for investors, pretty much wherever you invested (aside form this small list).

UPDATE: STXT50 and STXEQM, were delisted/amalgamated earlier this year. While they were live at the start of 2024, they are no longer active.

JSE Listed ETFs 2024 returns to close 09 December (dividends included).
