The new Protection of Personal Information Act (Popia) has important benefits for citizens and will take full effect on 1 July 2021.

The act provides data protection through legislation which is essential to realise our constitutional right to privacy in South Africa. This act mirrors Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You may be accessing Just One Lap directly through the website (blogs, videos and podcasts) and/or through our newsletter. Just One Lap has never, nor will we ever, sell or directly provide your personal information or data to third parties.

If you subscribe to our email newsletter there is an unsubscribe option at the bottom of every newsletter (whether our Monday weekly newsletter or the occasional promotional newsletter).
