Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) are a relatively new instrument on the JSE and in this webcast Mark Weetman from Unum Capital will initially present on AMCs, how they work, the benefits and inner workings.
Mark will then present on two of their AMCs that are designed as a core portfolio holding. The first being an offshore systematic strategy based on the All Country World Index (ACWI) and the second being rules based local strategy based on the local Large & Mid Cap Index.
Keith McLachlan from Integral Asset Managers will then present on the two new AMCs, one investing into local small caps and the second investing into offshore small cap stocks.
Keith will detail the benefits of small cap notes as a satellite holding in a portfolio and his investment philosophy for finding quality local and offshore small cap stock.
