December saw the twentieth anniversary of the first Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) listing on the JSE. Since 2000 the industry has grown to over R110billion in assets and 137 listings covering all investments options (local, offshore, equity, bonds, commodities and property).

This first Power Hour event for 2021 will be presented by Simon Brown and he’ll start with the basics of ETFs and review many of the 35 new ETF listings that happened last year.

Then Simon will cover tax-free investing. First introduced in the 2015 budget it remains one of the most exciting investment options for investors he’ll look at different options, portfolios and the importance of costs.

He’ll also look at where investors should be investing and take your question to help us all make 2021 our bet investment year.
