EasyEquities and Ivy Asset Management have listed an Actively Managed ETF on the JSE focusing on AI. The Ivy EasyETFs AI Innovation AMETF (JSE code: IVYAI) started trading on Wednesday 25 March 2026.

To quote the managers;

Using a research-driven, quantitative and qualitative investment approach, the Portfolio constructs a diversified global equity portfolio aligned with its mandate. Exposure is gained primarily through individual global shares and participatory interests in collective investment schemes.

The Portfolio is expected to hold approximately 50 global companies across the AI ecosystem, providing diversified exposure while maintaining a risk profile consistent with high equity investment.

This is not the first AI ETF on the JSE as EasyEquities already has EasyETFs AI World Actively Managed ETF and of course lots of tech heavy passive ETFs.
