South Africa started with Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) over a decade ago but recent years has seen a listing boom in Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs). Collectively we refer to them as Exchange Traded products, but for the investor what is the difference between an ETF and an ETN?
This video will explain not only the differences between the two but also the different risks and why we tend to see certain assets covered by ETF or ETN.
